Sir Franklin is a Penny Pony adopted by Franklin School in Missoula. The right to design this horse was won by June Brown's 1991-92 fifth-grade class.
The bulldog on the shield is the mascot of Franklin School. (Sir Franklin is shown here before being decorated with his pennies.)
