A peek through the window into the restoration shop at the Missoula carousel shows carousel figures in various stages of completion.
In the foreground, Prairie Rose is in for some touch-up, while one of the spare ponies takes her place on the carousel.
To the left, a walrus is in primer, ready to be painted. And the roughed-out bodies of two horses can be seen on top of and beside the workbench.
