Missoula's carousel platform is decked with oak. A number of plaques like the one visible in this picture are placed around the perimeter of the platform. The engraving on each plaque includes Missoula's M on the mountainside.
A reflection of the exposed aggregate flooring can be seen in the highly reflective brass band around the carousel platform.
