The American Beauty rose is probably the best known variety of red rose. This horse is a tribute to Jim and Jean Caras and the floral business that they founded.
Jim Caras came to the United States from Greece, and American Beauty carries both an American flag and a Greek flag. And all five of the Caras children are pictured on American Beauty's breast collar!
