A plaque that tells the story of the carousel. After 75 years of service at the Minnesota State Fair, it was scheduled to be auctioned off in pieces. A citizen's group saved the carousel, restored it and now offers it to new generations of happy riders. The most generous benefactor was Gerard L. Cafesjian. The carousel is now maintained by a not-for-profit group, Our Fair Carousel.
