This "Dappled Rose Jumper", with the many flowers and flying mane is an outstanding
example of the style of carving produced by Solomon Stein and Harry Goldstein.
From their Brooklyn-based company, they made some of the biggest carousel
horses, endowed with the bony looking head, large teeth, laid back ears,
and protruding rose decoration as seen on this horse.
