The Merry-Go-Roundup

The Merry-Go-Roundup is an official publication of the National Carousel Association. It is published quarterly and distributed free to members.

This 20-page publication features carousel news and photographs, articles on historic carousels and restoration projects, never-before-published carousel history, and coverage of carousel events, including NCA conventions and technical conferences.

In recent issues, the Roundup has covered historic carousels in Philadelphia, Santa Cruz, Dallas, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Hornellsville (N.Y.), Coney Island, Madison (Wisc.), Toronto, West Haven (Conn.), Germany and Alsace, and Leavenworth -- and in Spring 2005, a full-color issue on the 20-year restoration of Glen Echo Park Carousel (in Maryland), now owned by the U.S. Government.
